You probably haven’t heard of me…yet, But, I have the experience, ability, and desire to change your life as well as change how you think about IBS.

Hello, my name is Dr.Ashkan Farhadi and I am a gastroenterologist based in Chicago.

Is it a struggle for you to get the answers you need to combat your IBS?

Did your IBS just appear out of no where and you don't know where it came from or how you got it?

Are you noticing that your diet may also be the problem but you don't know what to eat to make your ibs better?

Are you suddenly experiencing trouble sleeping?

Are you worried about your pregnancy and how it will affect your IBS symptoms?
Are you ready to stop surviving with IBS and to start thriving on a daily basis?

I know you have lot of questions about IBS and that's why I'm here. The goal of this book is to increase your basic knowledge about Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and potential treatments of this common problem. In this book, I have tried to elaborate on several aspects of this disorder and to answer frequently asked questions. The format of the book is "question and answer" or "Q and A".

The idea of and inspiration for this book occurred to me while I was answering questions that my patients raised during their office visits. Initially, I thought that by putting these questions and answers in a small booklet, I would alleviate many common concerns of my patients. I never intended to publish this book on a large scale basis. However, within a short time, 10,000 copies of the first edition were sold and the second edition was published shortly thereafter. The book was very successful and received extremely positive feedback.

In order to celebrate the 4th edition of "I Have IBS, Now What?!!!", I want to  send you 3 gifts just for reading this page. Just put your name and email address into the sign-in box on the left hand corner and you will recieve 2 complimentary tickets to my teleseminar on October 15th,2008 where you can ask me your most frustrating IBS question and get a free chapter from the 4th editon of "I Have IBS, Now What?!!!"

Thank you,

I’m a 39-year-old female with IBS. I’ve been working with a dietitian who specializes in GI issues to help me make positive changes to my diet. In addition to eating healthy, I might be interested in incorporating herbs into my care. How would you suggest I do this?
